On Friday, 15 November 2024, we will host a full day of talks by Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and User Experience (UX) professionals working in both academia and industry.
This event is part of CHI Nederland’s (CHI NL) initiative to bring together professionals from academia, government, and industry. For this edition, our focus is on collectively exploring how AI is being infused into our daily lives, under the broader conference theme of Breaking Barriers. The goal of the event is to foster knowledge sharing and networking among HCI and UX professionals in the Netherlands.
This event will be held at Emakina in Amsterdam (next to Theater Amsterdam) from 9:30 to 18:30.
Who is this event for?
This event is designed for anyone with an interest in Human-Computer Interaction, User Experience, and Human-Centered AI research. It will benefit a wide range of individuals, including:
- Industry professionals such as HCI researchers, UX designers, UX researchers, design researchers, applied researchers, and others working on HCI-related topics
- Academics, including professors, researchers, and students engaged in or interested in HCI, UX, and AI
- Government and policy professionals interested in the intersection of HCI, AI, and public policy
- Anyone curious about the evolving role of AI in HCI and its impact on everyday experiences
